About the Role This hands-on leadership role is ideal for someone with a genuine passion for retail and people. You’ll play a key role in supporting store operations, guiding staff, and ensuring an outstanding customer journey from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth and efficient workflow
Supervise, mentor, and motivate retail team members
Manage inventory, stock levels, and visual merchandising in line with brand standards
Handle customer queries, complaints, and service escalation professionally
Assist in hiring, training, and onboarding new retail staff
Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to meet sales targets
Maintain accurate records of staff rosters, sales, and inventory
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards
Prepare basic sales reports and contribute to business improvement strategies
About You To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
Previous experience in a supervisory role in retail (at least 1 year preferred)
Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills
A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
Good knowledge of retail POS systems and stock control processes
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and rostered shifts
No formal qualification is required, but a Certificate III or higher in Retail, Business, or related field is highly desirable Work with a respected local business that gives back to the community Job

Pay: $45,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
