Industrial Electrician

Mech Elec NT Pty Ltd is currently looking for experienced electricians to join its fast growing team.

You will be a part of a team of electricians and fitters currently delivering specialised installation, maintenance, and project support across the mining, energy, industrial, and infrastructure sectors.

Your role will include:

• Electrical/Mechanical industrial construction

• HV and LV cable runs and terminations

• Installations of transformers, MCCs, switch rooms, motors, pumps, and field equipment

• Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, cable schedules, and technical documentation

• HV and LV testing, commissioning, and fault finding

• Overseeing electrical apprentices

To be considered for the role you must have: 

• Current drivers license

• NT electrical license

• White card

• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork

• Australian working rights

Desirable but not essential:

• LVR/CPR

• Current first aid

• High Risk Licence: Working at heights, Confined spaces

• Other heavy machinery tickets

• Experience with HV, switch gear, and cable installations

• Experience in industrial electrical construction environments

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics

• Experience working in remote locations
