About the Program
The Children and Family Intensive Support Program is funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services. The program will deliver services for families that will build on the strengths of families and communities to care for children in their culture. Larrakia Nation Aboriginal Corporation Children and Family Intensive Support Program delivers collaborative, culturally led, strengths-based, family-focused and child-centred support to families experiencing complex needs. The program works in partnership with families to build on existing strengths and capacities, empowering them to create sustainable change.
Support is culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and evidence-based, ensuring services are tailored to the unique needs, goals and circumstances of each child and their family or household. Through a holistic and inclusive approach, the program prioritises the safety, wellbeing and long-term stability of children while strengthening family functioning and connection to community.
Benefits and perks
Conditions of employment covered by the Larrakia Nation Aboriginal Corporation Enterprise Agreement 2024. Salary range starting at $40.03 per hour. Option to salary package a maximum of $16,050 from your gross salary each year; 5 weeks pro rata annual leave per year; and a 35-hour week. A fixed term contract will be offered that aligns with the funding agreement (up to 30 June 2027).
Applicants are required to undergo Drug and Alcohol testing if you are in the final selection as part of the recruitment process.
