The role requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality and experience with accounting systems and business records.<h4>Duties and Responsibilities</h4>The successful applicant will be required to:<ul><li>Maintain and evaluate records of financial transactions in computerised accounting systems.</li><li>Maintain and balance accounts, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.</li><li>Prepare invoices, receipts, payment records and bank deposit records.</li><li>Reconcile bank accounts, supplier accounts and customer accounts.</li><li>Process supplier invoices and assist with customer billing records.</li><li>Assist with payroll records, superannuation records and staff payment information where required.</li><li>Prepare routine financial reports, budget and expenditure summaries.</li><li>Monitor cash flow records and report irregularities to management.</li><li>Maintain accurate and organised business and financial records.</li><li>Assist with BAS preparation records and provide information to external accountants where required.</li><li>Liaise with management, suppliers, customers and external accountants as required.</li></ul><h4>Skills and Experience Required</h4>Applicants must have:<ul><li>Relevant Certificate III level qualification with at least two years of relevant work experience, or a Certificate IV level qualification with at least one year of relevant experience.
