What's the role?

• Providing adult and childhood immunisations

• Assisting with care plans and supporting nursing students

• Supporting doctors in caring for patients in the treatment room, and assisting in emergencies

• Assisting doctors in procedures i.e. biopsies and any other procedures

• Providing assistance to reception staff as required

Is this role right for you?

• Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse and hold Professional Indemnity Cover

• Unrestricted working rights within Australia

• Demonstrated understanding of the needs of general practice and interest in community-based nursing including patient education and health promotion

• Knowledge of current immunisation schedules, diabetes management, asthma management, enhanced primary care items, infection control, CPR and emergency resuscitation techniques, equipment, drugs and care plans

• Giving Vaccines or Understanding Vaccines certificate, or willingness to obtain

• Current Police Clearance and Working with Children (NT Ochre Card)
