$90,000 - $100,000 Annual

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day electrical tasks as directed by supervisors and project management staff.
  • Carry out electrical installation, maintenance and testing work.
  • Operate and maintain plant, tools and equipment in accordance with the operator's manual, company procedures and good practice.
  • Maintain a safe workplace and follow all work health and safety procedures for the protection of team members, clients and the public.
  • Comply with AS/NZS 3000 (Wiring Rules), relevant Australian Standards and Building Code of Australia requirements applicable to your work.
  • Read and interpret drawings, specifications and work instructions.
  • Carry out fit-outs of demountable buildings.
  • Perform wiring of new and existing residential buildings.
  • Install cable tray, supports, conduits and underground reticulation systems.
  • Install electrical systems in commercial and industrial installations.

Qualifications & Licences:

  • Construction Induction (White Card)
  • Current Northern Territory Electrical Licence
  • Manual Driver's Licence
  • Working with Children Clearance
  • Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
  • Current LV / CPR
  • Ability and willingness to undertake a Police Check if required
  • High knowledge of WHS/OHS requirements
