Audio Visual Installer

Dreamtech Audio Visual is a fast growing AV installation, sales and consultancy service based in Darwin. Reaching across the NT, Dreamtech are seeking a full time Audio Visual installer to join our team.

About the Role;

We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to work on the ground level of a rapidly expanding Audio Visual integration service in Darwin. Duties will include but not be limited to; Existing site service calls and maintenance of AV systems, new construction, commercial and residential installs, inter-company equipment maintenance and repairs, travel to remote locations for installations and maintenance (within the NT), purchasing and supplier communications, Diverse project design, supply and integration. You will be reporting to the Managing Director and have the opportunity to sink your teeth into the development and growth of the business. We specialise in unique and personalised solutions for our clients, with a premium outcome.

Candidates should;

-Have at least 3 years experience in the AV field (installation or otherwise)

-Have a passion for new technologies

-Have extended knowledge in the following;

• Distributed Vision systems (MATV, HDBaseT and AVoverIP)

• Distributed Audio systems

• Digital Audio distribute (Dante)

• Audio DSP architecture

• LED screens and components

• Digital signage and displays

• Cabling

• Rack building

• Basic Lighting and DMX

• IT and networking

-Have skills in the following;

• Brick, masonry, hollow wall fixing & mounting

• SWL identification and management

• Read cable maps and technical drawings

• Applying the right tools for the job

-Have excellent communication skills to be able to effectively converse with clients, stakeholders and business partners

-Be able to complete site visits and report back to the team

-Have a strong work ethic

-Have a commitment to quality service and high attention to detail 

-Be able to work self contained 

-Have a willingness to contribute to business development in the field

-Possess current drivers licence

*Industry certifications and qualifications will be highly regarded (AVIXA, Dante, RTI, Q-SYS etc)*
