About the role

SJS Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and dedicated qualified Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team in Darwin, NT. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in installing and maintaining refrigeration and air conditioning systems across the Northern Territory and interstate.

As a Refrigeration Mechanic, you will contribute to the installation and maintenance of commercial and residental refrigeration units as well as coolroom construction and complex industrial systems.

What we're looking for

1. Trade qualification in refrigeration and air conditioning, or equivalent relevant experience

2. Current refrigeration licence or the ability to obtain one

3. Demonstrated experience installing, repairing, and servicing refrigeration and air conditioning systems

4. Solid knowledge of refrigeration principles, thermodynamics, and electrical systems

5. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and testing equipment commonly used in the industry

6. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach

Highly Desirable

SJS Refrigeration are seeking a candidate that is genuinely proud of quality workmanship and professional development.

• Experience with commercial and industrial refrigeration systems is highly desirable

• Experience in coolroom construction is advantagous
